Previously housing a tailor's studio, this grade II-listed building has been transformed into a swanky, 120-cover gourmet restaurant. Boasting an industrial-like openness with stripped red brick walls, chrome design features and cerulean accents, Cottonopolis is a sleek new addition to the Northern Quarters food and drink scene.

At the back of the venue you'll find a large open kitchen that serves up a menu full of Asian-inspired small plates - think deep fried crab claws, dim sum and sushi. Tuck into an assortment of these dishes (which range from around £6-9) and wash it all down with Japan's favourite drink, Sake!
