Good room and service

We arrived to an empty desk on the 3rd of August and no indication of how to get our key. I rang and left a message on the supplied number, no one answered obviously. No one rang back either. I rang and left a message on the supplied number, no one answered obviously. No one rang back either. Luckily there was someone at the desk in the adjoining building, Dream Apartments, who kindly helped as much as she could. Finally upon returning we found the "operative" who gave us a key and told us which car space to go to. Well the space was occupied so so we used another instead. The operative was blase about it, so all good. The apartment was clean but the lounge window lock was broken and therefore open, love that hwy noise. The TV had a lovely habit of going blank every so often in the middle of a program. When we decided to go out and check out the city, location is great by the way, the operative had disappeared again. No hot water, it was switched off, the next morning was a lovely surprise. When leaving the next morning the garage exit arm wouldn't respond to the fob on the key chain. Luckily the night porter (?) came along. He was surprised by my handing him the keys, as i was told to do by the operative. Overall a poor effort for what was once a great apartment. Good rooms, kitchen, bathrooms all spoiled by lousy maintenance, and a poor attitude by the operators. The large stain on the carpet outside the front door of the apartment was a nice touch too!
