They brew all of their artisan lagers and ales in accordance with the German Purity Law of 1516.

WEST is the first UK brewery to produce all of its beers in accordance with the Reinheitsgebot, known as the German Purity Law.

This means that they only use the four core ingredients, water, malt, hops and yeast in brewing all of their beers, adding no artificial additives, colouring or preservatives. The rich complexity and diverse range of flavours in their beers comes from pure ingredients, expertly brewed, with no shortcuts.

Their brewery on Glasgow Green is also home to a bar and restaurant, serving traditional German food along with Scottish favourites.
