One of York’s original and intimate music venues the current owners have invested heavily in layout decor and sound video systems as well as inviting new bands and musicians to play some great sets , beers are great without the rip off prices of the city centre

The Venue is very nice. Intimate and friendly. Particularly with the Melody Makers Band. They are a regular feature and are always a pleasure to see and hear. We come from Manchester to watch the Band and we are never disappointed.
