The Reliance

Very few places remain consistently great over many years. The Reliance is one of those places. Always a warm welcome, great service and delicious food. The leek soup on this visit was, quite simply, a triumph.

Really enjoyed the food. Bacon chop with fried egg and chips. Good to see the chef salt the fried egg. Had some focaccia which was nice, although as we finished the table next to us ordered some and they were offered balsamic and some oil dips. Would have nice to have been offered this too . One of the best fish and chips I have had.... EVER!!
