For years it hosted midweek indie nights starting wayback in 1982, while entertaining the masses at weekends.

Now the tables have turned and since it opened in June 2002 The Pad hosts the best ‘n’ busiest ‘Indie’ based nights every Saturday and a range of more eclectic dance based nights on Fridays from the likes of Dubzilla, Pirate Sessions, 1 Night Whip, Silent Disco and more.

Run by and for music lovers firstly the club set out to bring something different to Bedford’s night-life representing most forms of underground music.

Now the Pad has settled into a nice routine with a diet of indie based music bringing some packed weekend nights and a heaving dance floor to Bedford’s music scene.
