SINTILLATE was founded in May 1999 by Gary Sewell and Kevin O'Shea (deceased).
SINTILLATE quickly built up a loyal following by providing an environment where the fashion, music and film industries can mix in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere fuelled by cutting edge music.
SINTILLATE is about 'accessible exclusivity'.
SINTILLATE were the first to provide Photos from every party onto a website for guests to see, a practice which has since become commonplace.
SINTILLATE were pioneers for the new generation of 'cyber-promoter' and www.sintillate.co.uk became a social networking site long before the advent of MySpace, Facebook and Twitter.
We believe in providing more than just a good night out. Our website is about you and for you. It aims to provide a service for the community that has built up around the SINTILLATE nights.
It features places you drink in, eat in, shop in and work in and services that might be of use to you, in addition to interviews with celebrities you meet at our events and articles and gossip we may feel are of interest to you.
Our aim is to provide the complete site for the SINTILLATE guest where it is possible to see pictures of themselves at our nights; where they can chat to their friends, read about people they've met, book a restaurant or even arrange their holiday...all with our recommendation. SINTILLATE followed up our success in LONDON by launching in MARBELLA in 2003, MANCHESTER in 2004, LIVERPOOL, LEEDS and SHARM EL SHEIKH in 2005, BRIGHTON and BIRMINGHAM in 2007, IBIZA and DUBAI in 2008, BRISTOL, SHEFFIELD, LEAMINGTON SPA and DERBY in 2009 and in TENERIFE and NOTTINGHAM in 2010.
In 2004 SINTILLATE won 'Best Promoter' at the London Club and Bar Awards, then again in 2008 SINTILLATE took the top award, this time for the 'UK's Best Promoter' at the London Club and Bar Awards. More recently, SINTILLATE were acknowledged for their services with the 'Services to the Industry' award and the London Club and Bar Awards 2012 and 'Outstanding Achievement to London Nightlife' in 2014.
