First was the era of swinging 60’s, free love and rock’n’roll emerging onto the popular scene. It was the time of tour buses, crazy parties and trashed hotel rooms. Anything that was worth doing was worth overdoing.
It was experimental and accepting. The time of pop art and Andy Warhol exploding onto the scene with his entourage of Factory kids, who demanded the utmost of life.
Then came the 80’s. Raw, alive and honest to the point of unapologetic. The leather trousers came back with a vengeance. These new leather trousers began to develop accessories such as tassel, sequins and lace up the sides. The era of Glam Rock embodied at legendary Studio 54. Disco lights guiding the creatures of the night, who could only find their way by moonlight and who would see the dawn before the rest of the world.
And just when it felt like the world was about to get some piece and quiet…here came Rusty Nail. It brought together the smoky hotel rooms of rock stars with the disco glam rock of 80’s. It brought a new way. The Rusty Nail way.
“Rock’n’roll is an attitude, its not a musical form of a strict sort. It’s a way of doing things. It’s a way of living your life”, they say, “It’s the Rusty way.” And they were right.
Sorry we're open,
