The evening was widely advertised as starting at 9pm and the bands were ready to play (they'd arrived at 7 to soundcheck). It seemed to be a cynical ploy to sell more drinks. The evening had been advertised as £2 entry but I heard that some late arrivals were being charged £5 and ushered straight into the club upstairs, meaning that Retro stayed half empty. Disappointing for all involved.

Went there after party in the park last week, we are an 'older' group! Brilliant atmosphere, considerate door staff and fun bar staff. High five to the management, especially James x
