Firstly, if you need to assess whether a potential customer is 'worthy' of entering the venue, it should be done discretely, and not so blatantly (i.e. the individual in questions looks you up and down and then proceeds to tell you there is, in fact, a "private party" - on a Satur...day in January? Highly unlikely). Secondly, if you're going to depend on this classic rejection phrase, don't then allow the rejected customer to overhear the same door staff allowing other members of the general public to enter. A really disappointing experience. I guess that night a little rip in the knee of my jeans and unpolished boots didn't quite make the cut, and I've personally never felt so judged at a Dalston door in my life. RIP Dance Tunnel.

Can't wait to come here again ... Cocktails were amazing and beautifully selected ... Music was very good ... and the Pizza from upstairs ... Splendidly delicious For somewhere that had only opened in the last few months a massive BIG THUMPS UP from me
