At the beginning of the evening we ordered a bottle of wine and aperitives and it took ages to arrive. We didn’t like the fact that the starters and main course were served while there was performance on the stage. Would you focus on your food or on the performance? There was also a big gap between the starter and the main. Finally when we got the bill they tried to charge us for the show and three course meal which we already prepaid. The actors were good, but there was only one burlesque actor and a host. I expected much more for what we paid.

Charlie and Stuart made our day! Brunch and entertainment were great! Wonderful value. Wouldn’t hesitate to book again!

I loved my experience at proud embankment but unfortunately the city branch left much to be desired. Highly unorganised kitchen and staff. When we arrived they had given our table to another party. Then failed to re-prepare the table for us despite asking several times. They forgot about our main course. When we reminded them, the food came out cold for two of my friends. To be sent back to be reheated. Then those two dishes had empty mussels shells in them with no mussels. ( The main ingredient) They also got the bill wrong and charged us twice for one item which we didn't notice, and tried to charge us for a more expensive bottle of wine. Very very poor service, but the 2 stars are for the cabaret compare and the burlesque girls. I would definately NOT book this venue again. As I said I rated the embankment branch as 5 stars, so I would pay a little extra and go there....a different league!
