8 things you need to know about X Music Festival
Rumour has it that a gathering like no other is set to return to Cardiff again this summer. The biggest festival in Wales, two high-energy days and an immense party vibe…
X Music festival is back. Taking over Bute Park from the 3rd-4th June, the country has gone wild for what this weekend is going to offer them. Thinking about going along too? Well here’s 8 things you should know.
1. The line-up is insane
For fans of banging beats and massive drops, X fest is like heaven for you. This year, they have gathered together the most elite DJ’s and dance acts you keep you raving all weekend long. You can expect to see the likes of Craig David’s TS5, Annie Mac, Andy C, Stormzy, MK, Blonde, Hannah Wants, Barely Legal, Big Narstie, Flume, My Nu Leng & Dread MC and many other names which are sure to give you one of the best weekends of the summer. Check out some info here.
2. There’s only final release tickets left
We told you the country has gone wild! Selling out in record time, there’s now only final release tickets left. So if you’re liking to sound so far, you may want to grab your credit cards now…
3. It is the second year of the festival
X Music fest only started last year so it’s still really new and fresh. And the best thing about that? It means this year’s event is just going to be even bigger and even better.
4. No camp festival
Think about all the advantages of not camping. You don’t have to worry about setting up tents, lugging around bags of stuff, greasy hair, smelly clothes, spiders finding their way into your sleeping bags, no disgusting toilets or public showers… you get the gist. Many, many advantages.
5. VIP bargains
If you throw in just £10 more on top of the price of your ticket, you can be known as a VIP for the weekend. This opens up a whole lot of bargains and treats for you, including a VIP bar and cocktails, posh toilets, a tropical themed tent to chill in with complete with even more DJ’s an entertainment. Pretty good deal, right?
6. It’s a real grub-hub
Although you’re not allowed to take your own food or alcohol into the arena, the folks at X fest will provide you with everything you need to keep you happy for the day. They’ll be plenty of stalls with a range of food options and even some bars to provide you with drinks which will keep you dancing all day long!
7. There’s less than 50 days to go
May can be a hard time of the year for many. Summer’s not quite here yet and it’s a stressful time for those working and studying, with deadlines and meetings scheduled all over the place. So why not give yourself a weekend of partying to look forward to?
8. You can buy tickets from Licklist!
That’s right, this year we’re helping spread the word about X fest because we believe it’s a festival not to be missed. Take our word for it, get your hands on a ticket now or you’ll definitely regret it!
