This is a lovely place to visit. The self-guided tablet was useful and we were impressed with the interactive cooking demo in the kitchen! Worth going.

Really well worth going around. Very interesting historically and architecturally. And it has great views over St Helen's Square and towards the Ouse. Popular and busy. Very well looked after. Recommended.

There was an exhibition (no photos allowed) which unearthed planning permission for various buildings in York that never came to fruition (very interesting). Well worth a visit for an insight into history, though sadly the exhibition, I believe, was only for that day - most likely due to it being residents weekend.
