I think if the bar staff actually smiled once in a while and the bouncers didn't act as though they are guarding the crown jewels, this place would gain a stronger reputation. People go to this bar for cheap drinks and a good time, not to look at a Van Gogh. I watched a bouncer act really shocked when someone tried to get in that was a bit drunk. If you want a less serious drink and not be monitored by staff, then I suggest heading over to Yates or somewhere less serious.
