This place used to be my choice of location for a drink every night. Things have changed since then. Some of the staff are great but others have such an attitude that it makes you wonder if they want to be there.

Current manager is rude and has treated her regulars poorly.

Just about ok. Could be so much better. Advertise football but you hate the people that come to watch it and treat them like fools when they ask for some volume. On a busy night the door staff (who are good) are unable to get past the first 50 people to sort anything out quickly. Too many fights outside the pub. Too much drugs in the toilets b...ut staff don't care and prefer to avoid it when questioned as too much hassle. Too many behind the bar have an attitude towards any who come in more than twice a week. No big screen for football when there is no reason not to. Sound never right and it seems you would prefer the people who live nearby to go somewhere else which is why your pub empties at 9 on a Friday. I wanted to give you a 2 star but can't quite bring it down that far. The place could be fantastic with some better attitudes and custom towards everyone, if only you could once have enough bar staff working. 31st March 2018 boxing night will be interesting. How many do you have planned for the rota I wonder! If somewhere else nearby had sky sports and wasn't a social club, the pub would close due to poor takings.
