Upstairs, Heads is a pastel, bright and breezy space, with a sense of room created by floor-to-ceiling windows and touches such as a marble bar top and softer shades. This lightness is also seen in Heads' cocktail menu, with an expertly crafted mix of gin and vodka twists, and drinks such as The Dove: a muddle of pisco, jasmine cordial, and sparkling wine.
Downstairs, however, the bar shows a darker side with Tails, a sultry den of muted tones, leather chairs, exposed brick and low lighting. Richer than its sister space, Tails' drinks list is packed full of punch, focusing instead on darker spirits such as whisky and rum. Non-cocktail drinkers are looked after throughout, with a neat list of wines and original non-alcohol and low-alcohol muddles.
