Add to this DJ’s every Friday & Saturday bringing together a selection of pop music and a late licence until 3am and you have all the ingredients for an impressive and fun night out.
The bar team at Forbidden Temple have created an extensive and inspiring cocktail menu including a selection of Signature House Cocktails, Classic Cocktails, Ice Cold Cocktails, Sparkling Cocktails, Martinis and Mocktails. The Signature House Cocktails are priced from £6.20 and include the ‘Forbidden Fruit’ featuring Dark Aged Rum, Vodka, Strawberry Syrup, Vanilla Syrup, Apple Juice and Lime. The ‘Okinawa Island Tea’ features White Rum, Gin, Melon Liqueur, Pineapple Juice, Ginger and Fresh Mint. For something altogether sweeter the ‘Sweet Orchid’ cocktail fuses Coconut Rum, Amaretto, Strawberry Syrup, Orange Juice and Lime. For a hint of Japan the ‘Hiro Nakamura’ combines Sake, Bison Grass Vodka, Melon, Fresh Kiwi, Lemon and Apple Juice.
A selection of leading spirits, international beers, wines and champagnes are also available. Forbidden Temple operates waiter/waitress table service throughout the venue.
The Kitchen draws on flavours from the Far East and spices of India and the food menu showcases perfect accompanying dishes to the extensive Bar Menu. Home-made Duck Spring Rolls are served with spiced plum and chilli sauce whilst Home-made Thai Fish-Cakes are served with sweet chilli sauce. Asian spiced Coconut Mushrooms also stand out on the menu whilst another dish suitable for vegetarians are the Vegetable Samosas and Spring Rolls served with sweet chilli sauce. The menu changes regularly and the kitchen team have plenty of scope to introduce the vast flavours of the Far East to complement the Bar Menu.
An excellent sound system further enhances the design and layout of Forbidden Temple, which is spacious with a capacity of 180 people. A large private room (The Tabu Lounge) with its own distinct design is also available for hire for all manner of celebrations and can host up to 50 guests.
For those seeking a private venue during the day, Forbidden Temple can be hired and AV equipment and Wi-Fi are provided. Forbidden Temple can also be hired exclusively throughout the day or evening and events and celebrations themed accordingly. A selection of Cocktail Flair Masterclasses will be announced as part of a wider calendar of events.
Forbidden Temple supports the charity Trinity Hospice and have a dedicated cocktail on their bar menu with £1 from each cocktail being donated to the charity. Forbidden Temple also actively supports the charity through a selection of forthcoming awareness and money raising events.
