Popped in after work as usual for a pint.. absolutely belting dj last night. Staff are all great including the door staff. Love it!

The bouncer let everyone of us in (including the girls who were wearing low cut tops and glitter), however, they wouldn’t let me male friend in who was wearing trousers and a shirt (regardless of the fact he was wearing colourful clothes), it was obvious from his appearance that he was gay, and the bouncers used this as an excuse to say he wasn’t allowed in because he was...n’t dressed “smart casual”. What is smart casual? That’s a really ambiguous phrase considering he was wearing trousers and a shirt. We all feel this was a homophobic attack because t a few of us who were out that night were in fact gay, the bouncers singled out my male friend and made him feel victimised. It’s 2018, I can’t believe people who have a professional role as a bouncer abuse their power to exclude someone from entering the bar because they are gay. It’s really disappointing as we were out celebrating my birthday, we have all heard such good things about this bar that’s why we wanted to come in. But we will not be returning to this place ever again, such a small minded homophobic establishment.

Dissappointed and disgusted that they turn people away based on sexual orientation.
