Having previously visited Ray's Bar a number of times I was quite confused when my 19 year old sister was denied entry. We had booked a table for a birthday celebration and with the rest of the group being between 24-27 years old as well as the age limit on the website stating 18 we didn't think there would be an issue. However, on the night we were told that the age limit was 21 due to the alcohol license, which is new to me because far as I know an alcohol licence doesn't state an age requirement for visitors except for "above 18". Fair to say, I am rather disappointed.

Great bar to chill and grab a drink. The bar had a good atmosphere with a 70's vibe and the DJ was playing classic 70's songs to match. Definitely a intimate date location and also a chill hang out spot. A hidden GEM in Dalston!
