About two years ago I really used to like going to this place because their cocktails were amazing and there was something different in this spot, well not anymore :/ because frankly this place stinks. I wanted to organise a birthday party and bring some of my friends here, what later turned out to be a terrible mistake. First of all, I wanted to book a table, but I couldn’t get through to anyone by emails, (wrote two) and no one was answering their phone. Well then I though ok no biggie, I’ll still head there. When everyone including me showed up to the place, I tried to talk to whoever was in charge about not replying to my mails. I didn’t want to complain, I’m a chill person so I just wanted to see that maybe my mails weren’t coming through or something. The “manager”, was really rude to me in return (and why be rude to a girl who’s just trying to ask some questions, not like I’m a big guy trying to throw a tantrum because their cocktail are watered down and taste like a big disappointment), anyway, turns out he wasn’t replying because the place was already booked for someone else’s party! I mean, where is the logic in this and I really just can’t understand this man. So he’s telling me he wasn’t replying because someone already booked the place, I don’t really care that someone else was having their super sweet sixteen along with my party, but why not do your job properly and just reply to the email and say “sorry someone already booked the place for the party”. It takes two seconds, a monkey can do it if trained properly. Apart from the manager just being rude and mean without a reason, their cocktails being watered down, so you’re paying 5€-7€ for orange and cranberry juice and some ice? As well as all the furniture in the place is ripped and is so dirty, the wallpaper is coming off the wall, whoever is in charge of this spot, they’re doing absolutely nothing about it. On the other hand the barman was a sound and nice guy, he seemed to be sorry about the managers attitude and he cheered us up. (Psss man you deserve a better workplace)
