There aren’t many festivals where you’ll be rapping along to Public Enemy and The Sugarhill Gang then getting your jig on to The Chuckle Brothers and Chas & Dave (maybe that’s for the best?). In other words, it’s a properly diverse line-up of some of the best Rock, Dance, Hip-Hop and Indie around, and several of the best new acts thrown in for free (jokes, they’re getting paid in beer or something). When you chuck in a circus, great street food, a kid’s area, a bouncy castle (for adults) and arts and crafts aplenty, Common People is a festival you don’t want to miss out on this Summer.
