HISTORY OF THE CASBAH BUILDING

If you stand back and look at Casbah you will notice arched cracks in the plaster work on the front of the building. This is because underneathe it all… Well there is arches, This is due to Casbah used to be the Stables for Swindon and used to host a fair few horses. In the early 80s casbah building was a bike shop.

HISTORY OF CASBAH

In 2002 After a few years of the building being empty from its previous user Mondo Mondo’s Casbah was born from two 29 something ladies who decided they wanted to put their many years experiance in the night trade to some good use. 10 years on Casbah is still going on, Still under the same managment and is now holding the title of the oldest night club in Swindon which everyone is very glad of. Over the last 10 years Casbah has been host to Some Big Celebtirity names, Chesney Hawkes, Jason Donovan, Sonia, Tiffany, Aswad, 911, Alexanda O’neil, East 17, Kenny Thomas, Jo Guest, The Nolans, Bucks Fizz, The Wurzels and many more……Also many local bands.
