Really good fresh seafood from Cornwall. Simple food done really well. Lovely puddings as well and dog friendly.

The service was slow and when we needed someone’s attention the two people available were just staring out towards the front door. The food was slow to come out and the kitchen overcooked the hake so it was like rubber. Hard to enjoy that way and a waste of a good fish. Fish like that should be more delicate and flaky. It came with chips (French fries) that were thick which we’re not fans of so I asked for boiled potatoes instead (which was on the menu). The waiter said they don’t have any and offered thinner fries which we enjoyed. Honestly the fries were the only good thing. The appetizer was a joke and I am appalled they had the nerve to serve what appeared to be remnants of fatty unusable salmon pieces — the bits that should be thrown away — and call it gravalox. Nope, I’ve made gravalox from freshly caught fish and have had it many times all over Europe, Canada and the states and what they served us was inedible chum. Gross. Can’t recommend Brady’s based on our experience.

Very plain menu. Uncomfortable seating and tables. You'd get better fish and chips next door but the marinaded herring starter was to die for. Shame it wasn't bigger.
