There are also several one-off gigs scattered throughout the North to look out for too.
Music, art, film and food are on tap in the 3-story Headrow House (reworked from a textiles mill into an exciting venue), including shows from the likes of East India Youth, Lonelady, Everything Everything and Mura Masa, Beacons puts on only the best new artists with killer support to boot.
So if you’ve had enough of festivals (i.e. muddy fields, camping near toilets and basically feeling rank for 3 days), come September/October, Beacons’ metropolitan festival format might be exactly what you're looking for to end the festival season.
Season passes are currently available, so make sure you pick one up before heading over to www.beaconsmetro.com or to their twitter page for all of the latest announcements for what's in store.
