Liverpool Sound City Festival 2017

The countdown for the start of the festival season is upon us (do we ever really stop counting down the days though?) One of the first events on the huge summer calendar of live music festivals is the brilliant Liverpool Sound City Festival which is the UK’s leading international conference for new music . It has been a big fan favourite with locals and music enthusiasts from all over the world since its launch back in 2007. This years festival promises to be even more fun than ever if that's possible, as the event will be celebrating its tenth birthday. It's going to be the party of all parties and we all know how much fun the Liverpudlians are. Last year big names including Catfish and The Bottlemen, and Young Fathers took to the stage. And this year promises to bigger than ever. The Kooks and White Lies have already been confirmed amongst a host of other stellar names.

This years Sound City kicks off on May 25th and runs through until May 28th.

Pop/Rock bandThe Kooks are one of the main highlights of Sound City, while The Cribs, Metronomy, and The Human League are also fan favourites.
