The Secret Garden Party – The Grand Finale
Think an explosion of unicorns, spirituality and an all round explosion of cupcakes and glitter. The team at Secret Garden claim this year’s bash to be ‘anywhere you want it to be’. If you’re searching for something different this summer, a more deeper, and inner experience if you will, then look no further than Secret Garden’s final blow out. Taking place Thursday 20th of July until Sunday 23rd just outside the English market town of Huntington, this delightful date is slap bang in the middle of summer, allowing you to be fulfilled with excitement for the first half and have a rebirth of spiritual energy the second.
Line up
Enjoy unique and artful sounds from headliners such as Devon born group Metronomy, Crystal Fighters, a US breakthrough electronic and folk group. SGP has in fact been a well known early festival that has unleashed many of today’s modern acts including Ed Shereen and Florence. Be present of stars in the making with this rare and handpicked bunch of delights.

What’s great about this one is that it’s been carefully designed with individuality and built up with a variety of delightful retreat areas where you can ‘find yourself’, if you don ‘t find it one then move onto the next because there’s plenty to choose from. Let yourself go in the 247 playroom otherwise known as the Labyrinth. If dance music is your cup of tea then get yourself to ‘The Drop’ and enjoy the sounds of techno and house royalty. For a more soothing set of sounds to calm the soul then trust in the ‘Pagoda’ a calming setting where it’s stage floats above the famous lake to get into your inner being. End your days in the Lost Horizon, a hidden oasis with plunge pools, saunas and even naked yoga if you’re really feeling like being at one with yourself...you never know what a few vodka and elderflower cordials will do.
Tickets and Transport
To be a part of SGP you need to purchase a full weekend ticket, day tickets are not available. Once they have you, they need you to stay. Getting to this beautiful countryside retreat isn’t as difficult as you may think. Huntington is just an hour away from London’s Kings Cross and trains run every half hour. Once there you can step on board SGP’s Big Red Bus which is a shuttle service directly to the site for just £5. The festival is also partnered with Big Green Coach which operates from many destinations and has the exclusive benefit of green traveller card that gives you discounts on food and drink.
Sleeping arrangements
Think ‘Boutique, Boutique, Boutique’. There are many different camping options to suite a range of budgets.
