Creamfields 2017

Forget spring! Summer’s coming, and that means Creamfields Festival is back again. This August Bank Holiday marks the 20th anniversary of one of the UK’s most iconic musical events. That’s worth a trip, we think! Marbella can wait — it’s time to party in all the sunshine Daresbury has to offer.

Line ‘em Up

As usual, the Creamfields line-up is set to blow our minds with heaps of world-famous artists. Thursday is split four ways, and they all sound equally amazing (and are what we might name our Sasha Fierce alter-egos): Sexy by Nature, Cream, Cream Terrace, and Hospitality. Split between them, we’ll be listening to artists including Sunnery James & Ryan, Midnight City, Franky Rizardo, and Strictly Underground. Friday will have us going crazy for Armin van Buuren, Route 94, and Eats Everything (whom we relate to on a spiritual level, pre-bikini diet). Saturday goes wild with acts like deadmau5, Oliver Heldens, and Martin Solveig on the South Stage, Axwell & Ingrosso, Galantis, and Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike on the North, and Above & Beyond, Grum, and Tchami at the Mega Arena. Sunday welcomes the likes of Tiesto to the North and Martin Garrix to the South, as well as Chase & Status at Sub_Aural, Alesso at the Mega Arena, and Paul van Dyk at Pepsi Max ... as well as many others. ... we can’t catch our breath.

Live the Dream

 Nothing like a dream at the Cream, right? With the Dreamfields luxury camping package, it can become a reality. What does it include? An exclusive camping area with 24-hour manned reception (always useful if your friends have gone off and you want someone to critique your new comedy routine/give you a back massage/exchange quiche recipes), a spa tent, a phone charging hub, and extra-nice private bathrooms (yes, that means reliably hot showers!).

Ticket Olympics

 At Creamfields, you can choose between a Gold, Silver or Bronze ticket. No, you don’t have to have competed in the 100 metre freestyle to buy them. A bronze ticket allows you access to the standard campsite, as well as hot showers and beautiful bathrooms. A silver ticket provides you with all of that, plus a 24-hour information hub, fast-track area entry, free parking, and access to the exclusive pampering tent.A gold ticket — before which all others bow down — grants you all of the above, as well as entry to the amazing hospitality arena and delectable food from Pushka. (Sadly, it doesn’t get you into any chocolate factories.)
