Outfit’s to impress your favourite V Fest acts

Packing for a festival can be a very stressful task – not just because of all the things you need to fit into a tiny bag but also because it means you have to plan the most kick-ass outfits you can. Why even bother going to a festival if you’re not going to change things up from your normal style or cover yourself in face paint and glitter? So instead of just grabbing any old thing with fringe or the most colourful combination you can get your hands on, there is a much more effective method to choosing which outfits to impress your favourite acts with…. Pick something that your favourite artist or band would be proud of themselves.

Justin Bieber

Let’s start with an easy one. The Biebs himself is a very simple guy when it comes to his fashion, normally opting for an extremely baggy shirt and some baggy ripped jeans. This is probably the safest option if you want to show him that you get his vibe and having one of the most famous faces in the world on stage in front of you is just no big deal. One word of advice though… it’s probably best to stay away from your old “I <3 Bieber” top this time, as recently Justin has got himself a bit of a reputation of not being very friendly to this fans and refusing to even hug them. So if you really want to get his attention, wear something so casual that it makes you look like you couldn’t care less when really, you’re fangirling hard inside.

Rihanna

We all know this gal is the queen of skin-flashing, tight-hugging outfits and bold make-up looks, so take some inspiration! How about recreating some of RiRi’s most iconic looks? One of her most recent fashion hits was the insanely frilly pink gown she wore to the 2015 Grammy Awards, so both neon or baby pink outfits would get a big thumbs up from her. Plunging bodysuits with plenty of mesh areas are another staple in Rihanna’s wardrobe, as well as feathers, bralets and oversized shirts worn as dresses. As for make-up and accessories, this girl loves nothing more than dramatic fluttery lashes, dark lips and some (hotline) bling… Go all out for this one.

David Guetta, Example, Mike Posner or anybody playing in the dance arena

Oh so simple. A bucket hat is all you need.

Little Mix

The highstreets haven’t been selling all those ‘girl-power’ slogan crop tops for no reason. Oh no, they’ve been preparing you for Little Mix’s appearance at V Fest. One of those with some denim short shorts and some army boots and you’re good to go and sing at the top of your lungs about that boy who broke your heart.

Jess Glynne

Pretty much the same as Little Mix, just embrace your natural and much wilder hair.

Jake Bugg

Good news for all of you secret mods at heart. Mr Bugg is coming to V this year. Dig out your favourite Fred Perry polo, pack those circle sunnies and slip on your leather loafers. That is the perfect attire to wear when watching Jake stand on stage and not move or even smile.

Bastille

This one is an easy one for all you indie rockers out there. Some sort of denim, white t-shirt, multiple bracelets and old festival bands and a checked shirt should do the trick.

Sia

Now this is where it can get very interesting. Sia is a self-confessed fan of wigs (if you didn’t already know, that half black, half white style is not her real hair), so maybe this is your chance to go a little crazy and don your own fancy dress look.

There are two routes you can take with this one. You can either find yourself a little blonde wig and giant bow of your own and attempt to copy all those freaky dance moves from the Elastic Heart video, or alternatively you can find the most wacky costume there is and try and impress her that way. Hippies, Where’s Wally, chicken costumes… the possibilities really are endless (and you’re much less likely to lose your mates in the crowd).

We’ve given you a few ideas, but now it is down to you to find those outfit that will make classic festival Instagram posts and show people you’re down to have a great time this year at V Fest.
