Electronic dance music, well-known club brands across 16 bespoke stages and winner of Best New Festival in 2015, We Are FSTVL is ready for another spell bounding year in Upminster. This May We Are FSTVL boasts an array of dance artists with the likes of Fatboy Slim, Sigma, Kurupt FM and MK just to name a few.
Returning for its third year, you can expect an electronic styled sister of V festival as it gathers around 30,000 music lovers each year treating everyone with a huge range of artists to dance to under the stars. Voted as the best medium sized festival, Licklist believes that this festival will be that special one on your list to go to every year once you’ve stepped into their grounds.
Not only does it boast a fantastic line up of artists, We Are FSTVL also dedicates itself towards the production and creativity to create a unique festival experience. The grounds sprawl over 122 acres and whilst the music is echoing around the area, around each corner has irreplaceable installations and creations that create an all-round festival extravaganza experience. So whilst you’re dancing to your favourite DJs with your friends, you can be absorbed in the scenery around you with colour, flowers and carnival-esque designs. Deffo one for the Instagram.
The creators of FSTVL really do think about you down to every last detail. They have split the site into five different glorious zones so you can space yourselves out and not feel sufficated in mixes of Vodka spillages and cringey boys with their cheesy London chat up lines. Find DJ Fresh in the Ancient Realm, Seb Fontaine in the Disco Topics or Ibiza favourite Jamie Jones in the Island Hideaway. Just try not to loose the crew! So even with thousands of people , your still have room to breathe! If you have concerns of getting to the site, you really don't need to. There a free shuttle buses from Upminster station and multiple buses from other locations working on loop drop offs. Oh, and did we mention it's only 20 minutes from Central London?! If you were lucky enough to go last year and fancy a little bit more from your experience for 2016, then why not get yourself entry to the VIP Village. This luxury hangout spot includes an exclusive VIP only stage, cocktail bars, hot tubs and even a complimentary pamper parlour! What?
