Liverpool Sound Festival!

This summer grab your shades and great group of festive friends and join the ‘Best metropolitan festival’ ultimate annual Liverpool based festival at the historic Liverpool Waters Bramley, Moore Dock (Liverpool’s docklands) on May 28th – May 29th. 

In true scouse spirit the event which has originated back in 2008, brings you international acts performing various genres of music to satisfy everybody’s desires. In previous years, over 400 different acts have performed on Liverpool Sound Festival’s very own stage, from all over the world, blasting their beats to approximately 25,000 people!This year’s sponsors consist of, MailChimp, Heineken, Red Bull, The Cavern Liverpool (The Most Famous Club in the World), Jack Daniels- Jack Rocks, Mountain Dew and the new delivery business, Deliveroo. That’s your food and drink sorted!

Food & Drink

Tease your taste buds this May with a variety of cuisines from around the world! Hot dog lovers will have the pleasure of American delacies including, American Pizza Slice, Diamond Dogs, Salt Dog Slims and Meet Frank! Otherwise, there is also the option of Thai from the scrumptious Chaophraya & Palm Sugar Lounge or for your extra carnivore admirers there is Indian Delights, Greek Street Food or pork speciality plates from Baoxen and Slims Pork Chop Express and divine macaroni cheese pasta from Mac Shack.I’m personally going to tuck in to a supreme skewer or juicy burger at the mobile catering business, Gourmet Grill! For those sweet tooth lovers, you can entice yourself with Crepes temptation…mmm! Ma ke sure you wash it all down with an ice cold beverage… whilst you sizzle away in the sun and top up your tan!

Accommodation & Travel

There are many posh fancy hotels for you to rest up in after all the madness! One hotel I really recommend is the newly built, Titanic Hotel… built in the heart of Liverpool! Other selections nearby include, Jurys Inn, Malmaison, Aloft, Staybridge Suites, Aldephi Hotel or for a cheaper option there is… Hatters Hostel. To commute to the festival, you can pop on to the train and stop off at Liverpool Lime station, or book your ticket on the national express coach service for discounted travel tickets, dependent on where you are coming from.
