Cream presents DJEZ
Fed up of all the half decent music events being in the summer? Well don’t get your spring scarf in a twist because one of the world’s leading event promoters Cream have stepped in to take away your early April blues.
Just before he jets off to Coachella (the US’s favorite celeb music festival in the Colorado dessert) Cream have grabbed the charming music phenomenon that is DJ EZ and placed him in the heart of Brixton so you don’t feel left out. He’s widely regarded as being one of the world’s best DJ’s to grace planet earth and recently gained huge recognition by playing a non-stop 24 hour DJ set for Cancer Research. He helped raise over £60,000 and gained himself worldwide attraction.
He’s set to be making a strong impact on the festival scene this summer, embracing us with his music talent at the likes of Hideout, EDC, V Festival and of course our pals at Creamfields. But thankfully Creamfields weren’t prepared to wait until August to experience the fulfilling power of his creative mixes. Next Saturday, with help of one of the global leaders in the electronic music market he will carry out his fist major show at Brixton’s 02 Academy. This exclusive event will run though from 9pm right until 3am in the morning so it’s really not for the faint hearted. But what do you expect from this iconic dance brand? This event is sure to get more tweets than Dermot O’Leary’s X Factor return.
Sadly tickets are all sold out, however they did go on sale back in November , so unfortunately if you didn’t jump on the decks of the UK’s #1 garage DJ in time then you will have to wait until his Summer festivals.
For those lucky early purchasers you really should start to feel the excitement now. You sure have a golden ticket for this electric hot event. If you’re not yet prepared for all those drowning transport logistics then don’t fear, the academy is accessible to Brixton railway station by a set of staircases. The nearest underground station is just 800 meters away, there are also a selection of night buses if you’re staying until the very end https://www.academymusicgroup. com/o2academybrixton/venue-inf o
There is a bar there but if your thinking of a few spirits before then check out some local Brixton drink spots on Licklist.
For those that haven’t got that all important bit of paper to get in then be sure to check out his Pure Garage album which is the UK’s biggest selling garage compilation series to date, selling over 2 million copies! More importantly take a peak at where he’s playing near you over the next few months: http://www.djez.com/shows/ he’s selling out across the pond so be quick.
