Radio 1’s BIG weekend 2016!

 

This year’s best UK radio station, ‘Radio 1’ will be hosting their annual big weekend festival on 28th-29th May in Exeter at the historic Exeter Powderham Castle!

Last year, ‘The Big Weekend’ was very popular at Earlham Park, Norwich, with big artists such as, Snoop Dogg, Sigma, Rudimental, James Bay, Jess Glynne, Jungle, Clean Bandit, David Guetta, Ella Eyre, Fall Out Boy, Lethal Bizzle, Charlie XCX, Olly Murs, Laurel, Context, Port Isla, Rita Ora, Ben Howard, Foo Fighters, Muse, George Ezra and Taylor Swift shaking it off with the immense crowd.

In other years the spectacular event has become famous in Glasgow and London!

Who will be performing?

In the heart of Devon this event will be hosting the UK’s top artists such as, Craig David, Coldplay, Bring Me The Horizon, Chase and Status and pop queen Miss Ellie Goulding who will certainly be lighting up the sky!

What’s on?

The former magical manor house that sets back from 1066 is notable for its excellence in the ‘Domesday Book’ and is combined of 3500 acres of land including, 4 farms, The Woodland Garden, The Belvedere, Old Plantation, The Old Kitchen Garden/The Walled Kitchen, 33 houses and a few miles of foreshore… The deer’s will be joining you on the ultimate party experience from the deer park… so what better place could you ask for?

You can appreciate the glorious views of the river Exe and the river Exeter whilst dancing up and down in a countryside of outstanding quality.

Last year, a great assault course with bouncing ball pits was admired by the public and top DJ’s so this year may have the same in store and possibly even more!
