The hottest spots in Las Vegas

Ask a friend to name the first city that comes to mind when they hear the word ‘party’ and you’re bound to hear two words come back at you: Las Vegas. Arising in the middle of the Mojave Desert, Las Vegas is the no.1 destination for the most unforgettable party of your life. Renowned for its wealth of themed hotels, 24-hour mega casinos and non-stop entertainment it’s a hot spot not only for regular joes like me and you but also for the biggest celebs and A-listers on the planet. So where do we find these stars you ask? Well, we’ve compiled a list of the most exclusive spots in Vegas where you’re in with a chance of bumping into your favourite celebrity icon.

Chateau Nightclub

Our first hot spot is the Chateau Nightclub, a destination that’ll seem rather close to home. Located at Paris Las Vegas and spanning 45,000 square meters Chateau Nightclub has two incredible spaces to enjoy. A bespoke spiral staircase leads to the nightclub, complete with French inspired décor, state-of-the-art sound and light and a 10ft marble mantelpiece. In here you’ll be surrounded by all the drinks you could ask for, fantastic DJs and the finest movie stars and musicians about.

If it all gets a little too much indoors then it’s time to head upstairs again to Chateau’s pièce de résistance, the Chateau Gardens Rooftop. Located beneath the Eiffel Tower atop the nightclub roof, this is one of the best views in Vegas. Overlooking the Bellagio fountains this outdoor space is a well-visited spot for A-listers and is a must if you’re in the city.

Chateau Nightclub is open Wednesday, Friday and Saturday with a constant array of great events, but what is most exciting is their deals. Whichever event you find yourself booking (except special nights) gives you the option to purchase an all-you-can-drink ticket. For $85 ($75 for ladies) you get entrance, live entertainment tax and as many drinks from the bar between 10:30pm and midnight.

For all of you who are interested Chateau Nightclub is strictly over 21s and a smart dress code is in effect and will be heavily policed each night so make sure you don’t leave the hotel looking sloppy.

1 Oak

Next up is 1 Oak, recently home to Mariah Carey, Scott Disick and Khloë Kardashian.  Found within the Mirage Hotel and Casino, 1 Oak is out to bring the NYC nightlife to the Strip and has been doing a pretty good job of it. Imbued with the avant-garde stylings of New York, 1 Oak is a breath taking spot to be in. With two rooms taking over the 16,000 square feet space, each with its own full service bar and DJ booth there’s plenty of room to go crazy.

VIP table reservations are available if you get there in time and 1 Oak are also available for special events like bachelorette parties, birthday’s and even weddings.

Once again the dress code is as you’d expect so don’t go turning up with a hat and flip-flops or else that photo with Joseph Gordon-Levitt or Jessica Alba just isn’t going to happen.

TAO

Proudly labelled as “The Best Nightclub in Las Vegas”, (we’ll take their word for it) we’d be foolish not to give TAO a mention in our list. With lavishes of Chinese design, TAO is a spectacle unlike any other in Vegas and thanks to an impressive roster of events year round it remains one of the best spots there is.

This 60,000 square foot juggernaut is insane; during the day there’s the widely acclaimed restaurant to enjoy before catching some rays at TAO’s very own beach and once the sun goes down TAO explodes with new life. Every Thursday, Friday and Saturday is a party night that frequently attracts the cream of the crop and sometimes they even get involved; Snoop Dogg is hosting New Year’s Eve this year! One of the best things about TAO is the package deals out there to make the night extra special.

For those wanting to line their stomachs with some fine cuisine TAO has the dinner and nightlife package, which will get you a three-course meal, a VIP table and bottle and mixer to get you started. Prices start at an eye watering $600 for a party of four so make sure you’re rolling in it before getting too excited.

TAO also offers packages for bachelorettes parties, which includes entry, a table for the evening and a free bottle of champagne. Upgrades are available for better seating in the nightclub and additional services such as Limousine pick-up, hair styling and make-up application and even striptease/pole dancing lessons are also available. There’s also a very special ‘Turn 21 at TAO’ package that includes the aforementioned benefits as well as souvenirs to remember your night.

Ghostbar

Our next nightclub is one of the classiest spots you’re likely to find in Vegas not to mention one of the highest. Located on the 55th floor of the recently upgraded Ivory Tower, Ghostbar is best described as sensual sophistication. With a minimalist black and white theme running throughout it’s perhaps one of the sleekest places you could find yourself in and is one of the reasons you’re very likely to bump into someone famous.

Fitted with incredibly stylish booths you can sit and enjoy a drink whilst gazing at the Las Vegas skyline through the 14ft floor-to-ceiling windows that line Ghostbar. Fortunately the view doesn’t stay behind the glass and you’re free to enjoy the rooftop patio and soak in the lights from the top of the Ivory Tower whilst trying to act casual around your Hollywood Heartthrob.

Ghostbar is open nightly at 8pm and enjoys happy hour from then until 10pm. Table reservations and private bookings are only a phone call away but make sure you’re arriving in smart and stylish attire or else you’ll stick out like a sore thumb.

XS

Last but not least is the iconic club XS, possibly the most quintessential nightlife experience in Vegas. Excess is the name of the game in Vegas and you’ll find no more indulgences than here. From the outrageously lavish decorations to the outdoor pool, XS is the epitome of what Las Vegas has come to represent.

Big name appearances are a regular occurrence at XS and not just on the dance floor. With sets from the likes of Skrillex, Diplo and Deadmau5, XS spares no expense when it comes to the company they keep.

Guest list reservations are a must for any wanting to skip ahead of the queue as well as table bookings so you’re not on your feet for hours on end. Bachelorette parties are commonplace at XS and come with a variety of packages to choose from, though we looked and they’re even more brutal on the purse strings than TAO. However, if you’ve recently found yourself to be a high roller then we can’t think of a better place to splash your cash.

So there you have it, five of the most exclusive spots in Las Vegas, we hope we’ve got you suitably excited to visit, though this is honestly such a small snippet of all the amazing places you need to hit up. We suggest starting off with our list and then diving in and experiencing the rest. Let us know how well your bank account’s doing when you come back.
