Ibiza Rocks the Snow at Rise Festival
You are about to read about the sickest upcoming event across the globe. It’s got raves, hot tubs, speed dating, ski lifts, skiing, snowboarding and an insane line up. Have you guessed it yet? Yup, Rise Festival. But not only that, Ibiza rocks has teamed up with the festival to bring you an insane time right there on the slopes.
This winter, Ibiza rocks is bringing the heat of the Ibizan sun in the form of music to the chilly weather in Les Deux Alpes, France; a popular ski destination for all abilities. They are going all out with the line up this year at Rise. Fist pump to Salt Carousel by Evian Christ (DJ set), High Contrast, plus international DJ London Elektricity and The Goldenboy. They’re advising us to keep an eye on their news page so we don’t miss out who else will be making an appearance on the snow.
Rise is full of surprises. ‘The Top Of The World’ is literally at the top. It’s where you can party until you see the sun rise over the mountains. Think you can hack it? Make your way up there. ‘The Riseminster’ is the adult playground. Enter a snow sculpture competition, take a photo in the memory pods, join in the snowball fights or walk into the ice disco. Then, when you’re actually ready for some music, make your way over to the main stage and take in the fresh mountain air or the indoor arena.
Seeing as in the UK we get zero snow, it would be great to see some of the white stuff, right? You will be able to ski back down and witness some of the breath taking views (sounds cliché/ cheesy but they are beautiful). If you fancy letting the competitive side out of you that weekend, head over to the ‘R Games’. Ski, snowboard and shred up those slopes your way to become the ultimate tournament champion. Something very different this festival offers is the opportunity to speed date, on a ski lift. Yes you read that right. If you’re feeling lonely, which I hope you don’t as you’re at the best festival in December, climb aboard the Love Lifts and meet new people and have a laugh or see love blossom.
But can they get it right? Obviously Rise will pull out all the stops but can Ibiza Rocks leave their comfort zone of the island and bring it in France?
