Calling all dance music fans; for the best live House, Techno and Electric beats, let the summer commence at ‘We Are FSTVL!’ A two-day spectacular that will include some of the UK’s most prestigious, proven and long-standing names playing across 12 bespoke stages; set in the historic Essex based World War One ‘Airfield of Dreams’ across the weekend of the 30th and 31s May. What better way to start the season? Described by organisers as a ‘series of parallel worlds’ due to the variety on offer for the 50,000 party-people to choose from; the celebration has had an amazing two years. Voted as the ‘Best Medium-Sized Festival’ in 2014, it has held host to a variety of acts that can only be topped by this year’s batch; with the likes of Fatboy Slim, Paradise, Solomun and Annie Mac have all graced the Damyn’s Hall Arena alongside some of the world’s leading club brands and labels.
The event is not content with hosting its best line-up to date, with new stylised arenas having been produced from which the likes of Carl Cox, Gorgon City, Loco Dice, Redlight and Masters at Work are to perform; whilst important infrastructure additions, such as extended bars, toilets and car parking will only serve to provide extra comfort for the masses. The entire 122 acre site is throbbing with sights and sounds, engaging action-hungry minds at every opportunity; with a number of incidental attractions available and pop-up events on show and plenty of room to stomp, shuffle and stretch out. Let’s not forget the Studio 338 after-party, where you’ll find Claude VonStroke, Hannah Wants and Lee Foss amongst others!

Now, getting to the event. There are a variety of transport options available to the We Are FSTVL customers, from free shuttle buses from the surrounding areas to the District line on the tube; and for those further afield there are numerous airports that are within just half an hour of the event. Perhaps the most recommended however is the National Express service; offering coaches from 21 locations nationwide that will take you directly to the festival gates.
