Prepare to be swayed by Propoganda
Propaganda events are the UK’s biggest club night and has become home to some of your favourite and most important bands. The last eighteen months has seen live shows and DJ sets from Mumford and Sons, Bloc Party, The Vaccines and many more. In short, these events are epic and only getting bigger and better with 25,000 people choosing to spend an incredible night with them every week.
Trust us, you don’t want to miss out on a Propaganda event; in addition to the bands, their club nights have hosted a string of unquestionably talented DJ’ing celebrities, which include Russell Kane, Matt Horne and Nick Grimshaw. Not to mention that Propaganda events have also appeared at every single one of the major music festivals. Glastonbury, Reading, Benicassim, you name it and it’s been there. Need we go on?
Their DJ’s have played at some of the world’s biggest festivals and are now here, up and down the country to give you a taste of clubbing excellence. You can expect to be blown away by an unrivalled audio-visual mix of the best current and classic indie alternative music.
If you’re thinking this is all a little out of your league, don’t be put off, these events aren’t all just about hard core clubbing. Depending on the venue, there’s usually a second room that oozes cheesy fun. You can let out your inner dancing diva every Friday at Birmingham’s o2 academy in the POP’aganda room, an electric mix of pop, party and dance.
Other Propaganda events also include Prop’aoke, you guessed it, rock ‘n’ roll karaoke at its finest! Or maybe the Digital Disco sounds more like your thing, where you can expect to hear a filthy cocktail mix of electro, house and dubstep.
The good news is that you don’t have to wait for the weekend either. Every Wednesday Fifth nightclub in Manchester hosts a Propaganda event, presenting two incredible rooms of music. Equivalent to royalty in the DJ world, DJ Dan, DJ Danger Russ and Sam Flanagan spin Arctic Monkey’s, Rudimental, Two Door Cinema Club and loads more.
Propaganda lands itself in Reading at Sub 89 & The Bowery every Thursday night. Expect nothing less than an audio-visual mix from the likes of Daft Punk, Bastille, Blink 182. Entry is less than a fiver and the majority of drinks are priced at just £1.50 so you don’t have to break the piggy bank to have an unforgettable night out. Perhaps it’ll just be your liver that feels the effects of this one.
If you haven’t already gone to see what all the fuss is about, then waste no more time! Check out a Propaganda event for an epic night out with your mates.
