Tis the Party Season
Brace yourselves as the party season is upon us. A few of the best nightclubs have put together some incredible festive nights; trust us, it was worth the wait! It really is the most wonderful time of year as the UK’s major cities come to life, bringing us endless Christmas-themed events and an unlimited supply of mulled wine, just to make sure we’re all merry. There’s no excuse for missing out on the festivities, even if you are a bit of a Grinch.
Brighton’s amazing nightlife is no secret. It’s well known for its high standard and has a lot to offer around this time of year, ranging from quirky club nights to upmarket Christmas events. Funky Fish is Brighton’s longest running club and boasts its own unique approach to clubbing. There’s no dress code, age or sex discrimination, it’s simply a place to let your hair down and have fun. So why not dance your troubles away; it’s a great way to burn off all those mince pies too!
If there’s anywhere worth going during the festive period, it’s the FunFair club. Bringing you carnival style clubbing and extraordinary entertainment, you’ll be captivated by burlesque shows, live snake charmers, fire breathers, magicians, and lots more. FunFair club knows how to host a smashing party, the ideal destination for an unforgettable Christmas party.
Tiger Tiger is reputable for being one of Manchester’s biggest clubs with eight different rooms and home to the famous ‘Lucky Voice’ karaoke booth, ideal for making most of the party season and wowing no-one with your questionable rendition of ‘All I want for Christmas’. Mariah Carey’s certainly won’t have anything to worry about! Or why not add a little sparkle and glamour to your festivities by giving The Milton Club a visit? It boasts stunning decor and festive treats so you’re guaranteed a more than stylish occasion.
For the last six years Livello in Newcastle has hosted fantastic Christmas parties, one to put at the top of your Christmas wish list as they get bigger and better each year. Hosted by their wild Candygirls you can expect crowd surfing, an infamous fancy dress box and an all-round ultimate Christmas clubbing experience. Also home to Newcastle and not short of any festive spirit is Exhale. Resident DJs return for the last party of the year bringing you an incredible party atmosphere and ultimate night of crimbo fun. It’s no wonder it manages to sell-out so quickly!
One of the biggest and best events that take place during the Christmas season is Winter Wonderland in London’s Hyde Park. You can indulge yourself in a number of festive activities from morning till dark. Try some traditional German bitter or mulled wine from one of the many taverns located in the park. And for a truly spectacular experience take a step into Winter Wonderland’s Bar Ice. The clue is in the name, it’s a bar made entirely of ice! From the seats to the glasses, it’s fit for an ice queen. You can sip on delicious sub-zero seasonal cocktails in a special cloak and gloves that are provided as it’s only a frosty -8 degrees.
It’s the best time of year to get out and have fun. Let’s just hope Santa can pay our bills in the meantime! Ba humbug.
