Licklist Guide to… Halloween

The days are getting shorter and the nights are getting longer, so a Halloween party is just what the doctor ordered to get us through those post-Summer blues. All Hallows Eve conveniently falls on a Friday this year (31st October 2014), which means all creepy creatures great and small can party all night long and well into the weekend. How are you spending the witching hours this year? Scare yourself silly with some exciting events…

You might be that bit too old to go out trick or treating, however there's plenty of stuff going on this Halloween Weekend to get your plastic-vampire-teeth stuck in to! From Spooky super clubs to beastly bar crawls or even traditional apple bopping Halloween games and fancy dress parties. There'll be plenty of clubs putting up the cobwebs, hanging the skeletons and altering their menus to add a Halloween flavour. Licklist has lots of events and venues to make your Halloween night out a real treat- no tricks here...

Never mind raising the dead, join in helping us raise the roof with one of London's biggest bar crawls 1 Big Night Out. Spread over three special nights (Thursday 30th, Friday 31st and Sat 1st), expect it to be the busiest time of the year with free zombie makeovers, unrivalled drinks offers and prizes given out for the best fancy dress: last year saw unreal contestants such as Unborn Foetuses escaping the womb and Wonder Woman eating the face off Zombie Hitler- you heard it here first! So get your best costumes ready.

Of course it’s not just the Capital that's celebrating the Day of the Dead, we've got a list of venues all over the UK:  The Viper Rooms Harrogate has lots of scary surprises in store, as too does Oceana Bristol. Get your fright on at Dry Bar Manchester with their ghoulish Good Vibes special or get ready to scream at Scream Lounge Croydon.

…So what are you waiting for? If you haven't already, start planning your best Halloween yet with Licklist.

Happy Halloween!
