RIOT JAZZ BRASS BAND



The 9-barrelled Balkan-to-Brooklyn brass-boosted bounce that straddles genres and defies convention!



Since setting sail in late-noughties Manchester, Riot Jazz Brass Band has been a bare-breasted, fist-pumping galleon figure of happiness and energy. Stirring up a hot-pot of peace-lovin’ aggro-jazz and re-interpreted dancefloor bangers, these brass-wielding super-heroes of fine-tuning the good times have filled ear-holes, dance floors and festival fields across countries and continents + we truly can’t wait to welcome them back to The South London Soul Train Live Stage.

Level 2 - The men with a plan and an un-insurable record collection - Legendary DJ’s Mssrs SNOWBOY and DEAN RUDLAND mine the crates for more vintage 45s for an epic journey through the land of the rare groove and down right nasty Fonk. Delivering some of the finest retro-licous audio ever etched on Vinyl til you can't take it no moh. Prepare yourselves!!!



Level 2 / Room 2 - Too damn hot SLST residents - Mukatsuku records Founder, the outstanding NIK WESTON and long standing DJ Partner and bad ass DJ HUW 72 take you on another mind melding, sublime gloablistic Safari across planet groove. Hunting down the tunes that matter and setting em on yehs. Beautifully savagely. Owwwww.



The South London Soul Train line up completed by Basement residents FIRST WORD RECORDS + WAH WAH 45 DJS serving up more delicious piping hot joints from the world wide underground. The absolute finest in soul, funk, groove and boogie. All night long! Dusk til Dawn. Beliiiiiieve!



As always, all floors taking all passengers on a Non-Stop Magical Mystery Tour through all things Too Damn Funky. P-Funk to Jazz Funk, Soul Jazz to Rare Groove N’ Stax, Brass, Breaks, Bop and Hop to Motown, Club Classics and Anthems.



However - Passengers are requested to check their Souls at the Station as this ones for good time party people only! No Bass Wobbles Here, Only Love, Funk and Souuuuuuuul.



Event Runs 10pm - 5am / £5/7/10/13 Adv from RA or £13 OTD / Takes place on the 1st, 2nd + 3rd Sat of each month + on-going specials at The CLF Art Cafe www.clfartcafe.org and OMEARA London on the last Sat of each month + Beyond
