HORDES

Hordes have been firm favourites of Sirius ever since we hosted their debut show back in 2012, which was so packed we stood outside. They've grown much over the years building on their already frightening, blackened assault of all things extreme metal.
..I think they've actually slowed down a little, throwing a slightly sludgier doom twang into the mix, but even then they're still faster and more gruesome than anything else.
ABSINTHROPY

FVNERALS

Fvnerals dark sound and slow paced atmospheres have been described as containing elements of ambient, post-rock, drone, shoegaze and slowcore. Their Dark, Melancholy style is in a similar vein to bands such as Chelsea Wolfe and Grouper.
The trio come from Sweden & Belgium via Brighton and formed in 2013, they quickly recorded & released their debut EP 'The Hours' on the label Eerie Echoes and after a short Hiatus to focus on other projects returned in 2014 to record their debut full length 'The Light'
"..If you are a fan of slowcore, doom or shoegaze, there are enough elements to pull you into their sad dreamworld. The oppressive, depressive introspection is beautifully painted here. The fact they invested the time and effort into the production of this album really shows when the cold, slow ring of guitar echoes in your ears..." - CVLT Nation
COLOSSLOTH
www.facebook.com/pages/colossloth/8637558542
Colossloth played the beginning of a Sirius show in November 2014 and was only given 15 mins to shine. In that 15 mins he cemented himself as a Sirius favourite, mesmerized is probably the best word to use.. and we'll hopefully be seeing a lot more of him in the coming years.
A one man experimental, electronic noise project from Leicester, skillfully combining elements of doom, drone and.. well, noise. 3 track EP 'Anchored by Lungs' can be heard here: http://peripheralrecords.bandcamp.com/album/colossloth-anchored-by-lungs-e-p
"...Anchored By Lungs reminds you of those early moments playing Silent Hill in a darkened room. Your senses are heightened to the point of paranoia." James Williams - This Noise Is Ours.
