Die So Fluid are the modern incarnation of a 'power trio'. Their sonic identity possesses the muscle of metal, the angular cheekbones of post-punk and the bittersweet heart of grunge. They are part of a new generation of rock bands who chose to turn down signing a traditional record deal and embrace the changes the internet has made to the industry by stripping record companies of their distribution and promotion monopolies.
Grace Solero www.facebook.com/GraceSolero
Raw and eclectic London quartet Grace Solero released their second album 'Hundred Years Apart' on September 30th 2013 through Wohone Records. Their single Electro has been played by Ian Camfield on the XFM Rock Show and the album songs are currently receiving airplay all around the world.
Singer and guitarist Grace herself possesses a visceral voice of astounding range, and a presence and poise as a performer that points to past dance and gymnastics training. In the group she lends her name to, her star quality is matched by that of California-born, London-based lead guitarist Dan Beaulaurier, whose style displays a rare mix of technical mastery and real soul.
Idlehour www.facebook.com/Idlehouruk
Born from an indulgence of the unspoken recesses of troubled minds, Idlehour is a dark cocktail of early 90’s grunge, abrasive punk and ice cream truck melodies. Emotionally extravagant and sonically unpredictable, we make three minute pop songs for the psychologically fragile and gracefully morbid.
