About this Event

It all began at our 2nd birthday party, when a number of our musicians from different acts brought their instruments and by halfway through the evening we had a stage full of fantastic musicians playing riffs on all our favourite standards as well as improvising. Since then we have spoken to a number of our regular musicians and our friends at Hennessy and as a result we have the Hennessy Jazz Jam Session. The jam session will always have a base of a trio (this time piano, bass and guitar/banjo) but all professional musicians are welcome to come and join - for which they will receive free drinks. This will be a unique opportunity to see some of London's very best jazz musicians doing their stuff on stage completely free of charge!

(Please note this is NOT an open mic night and the stage is open to professional musicians with instruments only).

As the night is kindly supported by Hennessy, there will also be a special menu of cocktails at reduced prices featuring Hennessy Fine de Cognac, including favourites from our old menu such as the Japanese and cognac classics such as the Sidecar.



The night will be jointly curated by pianist Hugo Simmonds and legendary jazz banjoist Nick Singer, one of the true greats of traditional jazz in Britain, with many friends dropping by to join the musical action.
