After our last outing, where Breaka quite literally shut down Emporium, Oxford’s favourite curry themed sweat box is back. At the top of the bill is Holloway, who will no doubt be seasoning our senses with his trademark emphasis on swooping subs and 2-step silliness. Fan favourite and very naughty boy, Robek, is on support duties, so get down early on the 26th for some mind-melting wubs.



Holloway (Rinse FM/Dr Banana): As co-founder of Overtone and a Rinse France resident, Holloway has been making waves both in the UK and mainland Europe with a style heavily steeped in garage influences. His production utilises more bassy elements of 2-step, blended with minimal aspects, with a host of releases on labels at the pinnacle of the underground scene, such as Dr Banana, as well as his distinguished ‘Late Night Excursions’ EP on Warehouse Rave. After a dynamic performance at Boiler Room London in December, we’re eager to hear what he’s got in store for us in February.



Robek (JX3): After a busy festive period where he tore up Space Studios (Norwich) with JX3, as well as continuing to bring slinky beats to Corsica studios as part of PL.FM, Robek returns to Oxford for the third instalment of Spice Lounge. Expect the usual: an eclectic collection of UK oriented sounds and some menacing wax to get you stomping.
