Cowley Road's most brilliant, bestest festive tradition lives on. Reggae Xmas has been an East Oxford yuletide institution for the past 24 years, beginning life with the launch of The Zodiac in 1995 and lighting up every Christmas Eve since. In recent times we've had some amazing names grace the stage, and this year is no exception!



LAID BLAK

Laid Blak have rocked the Reggae Xmas crowds so many times that they need no introduction. Smash hits like ‘Bristol Love‘ and the ubiquitous ‘My Eyes Are Red‘ have seen the 7-piece propelled onto the airwaves and around the world. This summer alone saw them slaying packed houses at Boomtown and Glastonbury. Guaranteed to get the room JUMPING. Do not miss.

Oxford's original rebel sound - Daniel Norland and special guests nice up the dance with roots reggae and rub-a-dub.

Trojan selector, Wailers warm-up and purveyor of the best beats in the business. Co-creator of the world-famous Disco Shed, curator of Skylarkin’ Soundsystem for the past 20 years. Luddite. Party starter. Story-teller. Maniac.



DJ BUNJY & MC JOE PENG

Founding members of the great Laid Blak, Joe Peng and ‘Bunjy’ Anderson spin bass-heavy bangers and rare dancehall treasures.



DASHER & WAZZY

The groovesome twosome have become a front bar festive fixture, mashing up room two with heavy funk, hip hop, soul, disco and more besides.
