Spice Lounge is back, bigger and more raucous then ever. This time we’re unleashing Breaka, who’ll be peppering the Emporium Basement with a barrage of breaks and bass. In support, Robek returns to the lounge as part of JX3, a group of young DJs who specialise in dropping floor shakers all night long. From the kitchen to the basement, we’re gassed for you all to see what we’ve been cooking. Expect massive beats and thumping subs, this is truly not one to be missed: come feel the heat at the start of term.



Breaka (Holding Hands)- Breaka’s debut 12’ on Holding Hands showed his talent for producing, with 3 absolute heaters released on one of the most exciting labels around at the moment. His distinct sound, so called ‘wiggly breakbeat’, has seen him garner support from a host of established names, including Objekt and Call Super, who dropped ‘Rory’s Theme’ at his Seoul Boiler Room. With mixes for Noods Radio and Rinse FM, coupled with a residency at Stretchy Dance Supply in Leeds, his fresh and energising mixing style speaks for itself. All this adds up to what will surely be a top quality set.



JX3- (Robek, Corcran, Adam King) - From a young age the JX3 boys have been perfecting their skills in their home city of Norwich. Now, with their namesake clubnight flourishing, they continue to embark on exciting projects in London, Birmingham and Glasgow, bringing the party wherever they go with an extensive collection of tracks and records focused on breakbeat, dub, bass and garage.
