Starting to think about finding private-rented accommodation for the 2018/19 academic year? Visit the Housing Advice Fair for the information you need for safe and successful house hunting.



Staff from the Accommodation Office will be on hand with a presentation every half hour with essential information about the different ways you can go about your search, for example how, where, when to look and addressing the questions you need to consider in order to find the right place along with a stall for individual queries.



There will also be stands from a host of organisations to advise on all the other questions you may have on issues such as gas safety, fire safety, deposit protection, bills, living in the community, how to deal with problem landlords, what to do if you don't have a guarantor, contents insurance, funding issues and home security.



Bristol SU Lettings, the Student Union's own lettings agency who have a large portfolio of student accommodation will also be on hand to answer your queries and put you on their mailing list ready for their property release date on 4 December.



Additionally there will be stalls from a number of other agencies and housing suppliers to give you an idea of what is available on the market.



The Fair is also an opportunity connect with other students looking for accommodation.
