About this Event

The Stephen Sondheim Society Presents… three new guests at their monthly cabaret: West End star Tiffany Graves (Mack & Mabel, Chicago, Sweet Charity), newcomer Miiya Alexandra, currently wowing audiences in Metropolis, and Robert Oliver, who featured as the Narrator in All Star Productions’ critically acclaimed Into The Woods. As ever, our MC is Tim McArthur and our MD is Aaron Clingham.



MIIYA ALEXANDRA trained at Arts Educational Schools. Theatre credits while training include: Princess Puffer in The Mystery of Edwin Drood and Ensemble in The Life (both Arts Educational Schools). TIFFANY GRAVES is perhaps best known for her many years as Velma in Chicago at London’s Adelphi and Cambridge Theatres, and as alternate lead in the acclaimed Menier Chocolate Factory production of Sweet Charity at Theatre Royal Haymarket. She garnered rave reviews for her recent portrayal of Lois/Bianca in Kiss Me Kate with Opera North, and Ulla in Mel Brooks's The Producers. She was last seen at The Other Palace in Drew McOnie's The Wild Party, which opened the new London theatre earlier this year.



Other iconic leading roles have included Killer Queen in We Will Rock You, Marlene Dietrich in Piaf, and Sukie Rougemont in The Witches of Eastwick, as well as appearing in many other renowned shows such as Sunset Boulevard, A Chorus Line, Tonight’s the Night, Godspell and Cats.



Tiffany has performed in Grange Park Opera productions of La Traviata and Anything Goes, Follies at the Royal Festival Hall, Chess and Night of 1000 Voices concerts at the Royal Albert Hall, West End Heroes with Michael Ball at the Dominion Theatre, the Royal Gala opening of Wales Millennium Centre, the NT: 50 Years on Stage extravaganza at the National Theatre, in Wonderful Town with the Halle Orchestra conducted by Sir Mark Elder at The Lowry, and in Hey, Old Friends! the Stephen Sondheim 85th Birthday Gala at Theatre Royal Drury Lane. ROBERT OLIVER is originally from Cheshire in North West England and now lives in West London. He attended two GSA summer schools, both concentrating in Musical Theatre and Dance, and graduated in 2014 from the three-year Musical Theatre course at the London College of Music.



Theatre includes: Lead vocalist in One Man Two Guvnors (London Contemporary Theatre), Hansel in Hansel and Gretel (Hertford Theatre), Lamps in The Gentleman of Nowhere (Hookhitch Theatre), Charles Alderdice in Phantasmagoria (Hookhitch Theatre), Ensemble in Dick Barton Special Agent (Leicester Square Theatre), Mr Rabbetts/ Charlie Kinch in Danny, the Champion of the World (London Contemporary Theatre and UK tour), and Narrator in Into the Woods (Ye Olde Rose and Crown).
