The Grey Area presents Bambooman & Ogives
About this Event
The Grey Area Presents
BAMBOOMAN
For those who know, Bambooman is one of the most sought after, probing, and distinctive voices in UK electronic music right now.
Championed by Giles Peterson, the Yorkshire born producer’s catalogue spans Hip Hop, Techno, Ambient and experimental Electronica, all held together by a distinct sound built upon his extensive use of field recording.
As long time fans of his weird take on electronic music we're very happy to bring him to Bristol for the first time, for a special live performance, to celebrate the release of his debut album on Matthew Herbert's Accidental Records.

Ogives
Bristol based Ogives brings a sound that is a lot larger than just a man with a guitar. Delays, reverbs, loops and an atmosphere that grips you, his music straddles the divide separating droning noise from psychedelic and cinematic melodies. We’re very happy that he’s stepped in as a replacement on support duties for the night, and can’t wait to see him perform live!
