The Crypt proudly presents Mr.C, a true icon of electronic music.

Richard West, aka Mr.C, has been shaping electronic music since the late 1980s. From his beginnings as a teenage MC in London clubs to becoming a resident at the iconic Camden Palace, Mr.C has been at the forefront of UK rave culture.

His journey spans from pivotal roles in the legendary RIP parties at Clink Street to conquering the airwaves on Kiss 100FM. As frontman of The Shamen, he scored multiple UK top 10 hits, including the number one "Ebeneezer Goode". In 1995, he co-founded the groundbreaking nightclub The End, redefining London's clubbing scene for 13 years.

Today, Mr.C continues to innovate with his label Superfreq, approaching its 22nd anniversary. His influence extends from London warehouses to global stages, with his production work as Mr.C and collaborations like Wonkytonk and East LA Tek pushing electronic music boundaries.
