THIS WEEKEND!!!!



Each ticket gets you access to all the shows on that day. You can come and go as you please and see as many shows as you want, whenever you want on that day. You don’t have to see them all! There will be breaks throughout the day and a bar.



Inspired by the Del Close Marathon in New York, Hoopla present....



THE HOOPLA IMPROV MARATHON!



Over 200 performers, in shows back to back, in over 50 hours of NON-STOP improv and comedy!



There are going to be big shows, small shows, open to everyone jams, weird little rave, and lots and lots of crazy mini shows happening throughout the weekend.



IMPORTANT INFO:

The Hoopla Improv Marathon is a charity event, raising awareness of Team Margot, an organisation that campaigns for people to register as potential bone marrow/stem cell donors. All profits will go to charity and Hoopla and The Miller aim to register 200+ new donors over the course of the marathon. In exchange for signing up, participants will receive a free drink courtesy of The Miller and the opportunity to potentially save a life.

DAY 1: 7pm FRIDAY 20th October - 8am SATURDAY 21st OCTOBER



One ticket gets you access to all these shows. You can come and go as you please and see as many as you want. There will be breaks throughout the day and a bar.



7pm: Ghost Couple with Dylan Emery (Olivier award winning Showstoppers) and Ruth Bratt (BAFTA winning People Just Do Nothing) and Bareback Kings.

8pm: Guest Speaker with Richard Vranch (Whose Line Is It Anyway, Comedy Store Players), Suki Webster (Paul Merton’s Impro Chums), Charlotte Gittins (Austentatious) and Phil Whelans (GTI).

10:30pm: Newsical improvised topical musical and Ladyprov.

11:30pm: Mamet the improvised David Mamet play with Dylan Emery and Alan Marriott (founder of Crunchy Frog Collective and the original London TheatreSports)

11:50pm - 4am: MEGA FACE! The late night zone with LOADS of 10 minute shows of late night improv including:

11:50pm: Wrestling with Love and THE RAVE!

12:35am: Pie-day Night, Hot Morris, Mooooo!!!, Lest we forget, Get out of my office!

1:40am: Sing-a-long with Motivational Lobster, Whose Wine is it Anyway, Real Door, Arnie the improvised hip hop action movie, Chase Danson an evening staring directly into the stars, Old Choice.

2:50am: Judge Doody, Somnambulist Public Radio LIVE, Springwatch, Blue Peter, Jackanory.

3:50am: Somnambulist Public Radio LIVE.

5am: We make a show out of whoever is still in the room!

DAY 2: 8am SATURDAY 21st OCTOBER - 8am SUNDAY 22nd OCTOBER

8am: Kathy & Unai in the Morning, the improvised breakfast show!

9:15am: Ripcord, Lunch Pad, Yes And Biscuits.

10:25am: The Live Report (improvisers filming outside on a live feed to a news room on stage), Vladi, Cop Prov, Dead Drunk Detective, The Pioneers.

11:30am: Phil Lunn’s Musical Improv Jam. Open to anyone to come and have an improvised sing.

12:45pm: We are not a cult, Swipe Right, The Parantheticals, Die Hards.

2pm: Story Kitchen’s Mega Maestro.

4pm: Blind-prov, Patronising Toothpaste Adverts From The 1970s, Classic Andy, Helen & Alex.

5pm: Stand Up with Rob T, Tandy Houghton/Liam Thatcher, Zahra Barri, Radu Isac, Don Biswas, Athena Kugblenu, Evelyn Mok and Lewis Schaffer.

7pm: Glitch and The RH Experience.

8pm: The Faculty.

9pm: The Maydays.

10pm: Phil Lunn is.... , Muriel's wise words, The Dreaming, The Committee.

11:15pm: Clusterf*ck with a selection of great stand up, sketch and improv.

1:30am - 4am: THE MOTIVATIONAL LOBSTER’S LATE NIGHT IMPROV PARTY with:

1:45am: The Bareback Kings, Horrified Movies, The Rave, You’re Shit.

3am: Shotgun, Improvised Crystal Maze, Improvised Rick and Morty, La Bonde.

4am: We make a show out of whoever is still in the room!

11:45am: History Under the Influence and Tea and Toast.

12:45pm: Never Mind The FoxKiss, Contacted Charm and Strange, Night Version Jam.

2pm: Electric Priests with Sweet Nelson, The Greater Good and Handsome Weeping boy.

4pm: Stand up with Rob T, Ian Mcdonald, Stu Turner, Daniel Audritt, Bec Hill, Ola The Comedian and Dan Antopolski.

6pm: Do Not Adjust Your Stage and City Impro.

7pm: The Science of Living Things, Direct Theatre from Bournemouth, Other People’s Children.

8:15pm: The Actors’ Nightmare Improvised Play with cast members from Whose Line Is It Anyway, Comedy Store Players and Blackadder.

9:15pm: Petting Zoo, The Homunculus and Music Box.
